My computer has either a virus or worm and is sending out to mail
address book. Norton Antivirus is not detecting it. How can I get
rid of it?
I don't know if it is safe to write the name of it in my message, but
I have the name of two that are in my computer. What to do?

If you could provide us the name of the virus or worm, it would be
very helpful in providing the answer you seek. I'm not aware of any
virus that would cause further damage simply by your posting its name
in a message.

nubbin...

Take your crippled machine by the hand and hobble
on over to Trend Micro's free online virus scan:
http://housecall.antivirus.com/

You can register to receive virus alerts by email,
or skip registering and go straight to the "housecall"
page. You may also choose to download their 30-day
trial software from this page:
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/

RAV also has a free online scan, here:
http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/

and there are other services available from the
search results below, but I'd recommend Trend's
service - and quickly...

Important! There's a brief message which may pop up,
telling you to run TSC.exe after re-booting. It will
be located in the Windows directory. After running it,
you can delete it, along with TSC.log and TSC.ini.
You may want to look at the log and see what the scan
found, and what actions were taken.

P.S.

I'd suggest you check the "Auto Clean" box on
the housecall page. And do give it a few minutes
to load. If you're using a modem, it can take
awhile...just be patient.

If you are afraid to post the actual name, type it with a couple of
** in between the letters.
