Hi there,

I use many of these public records sites on a daily basis, and
consider the following to be the best:

Free, General

Search Systems
http://www.searchsystems.net/
Links to over 8,000 free public record databases. Topics include
professional licenses, sex offender lists, court records,
corporations, vital records and much more.

Free Real Estate Records

NETR Online
http://www.netronline.com/public_records.htm
Many counties offer details of property ownership, mapping and tax
assessments online. NETR Online has the most comprehensive and
up-to-date links to these services.

Free & Paid Court Records

National Center for State Courts

Administration through the end of April 2002 and contains 68,234,200

Paid Vital Records

An up-to-date page of links to State Offices - fees for birth, death,
marriage & divorce certificates are typically between $5-$15

VitalChek

VitalChek costs a little more than using the State Offices, but is
much faster

Paid People Finder Services

cross-checking, criminal records, driving records, vehicle plate
searches, vehicle ownership, unlisted or non-published phone numbers,
bankruptcy filings etc

receive reduced search rates.
