In your terminology of e-catalogue are you discounting online
e-commerce stores which are essentially a 'catalogue' of the products
available with technical specifications, prices, photos, diagrams.
Perhaps you are referring to CD-ROM distribution of catalogues or
downloadable versions like http://catalogs.google.com ?

Hi

I am specifically refering to e-catalogues for business which are
tailored to there needs.  Hence amazon.com would not be in the scope
of the question, however if dell.com was to provide a catalogue for my
company with my companies prices that would be useful.  The area is
also specific to e-catalogues found in marketpalces like ariba and
commerce.
