I use Eudora 4.3 as an e-mail client and Netscape 6.2.3 as my browser.
My PC is running Windows 2000. Ever since I upgraded to Netscape
6.2.3, whenever I go from a link (URL) in an e-mail to open a browser
window, Netscape always opens two windows instead of just one. I never
had this problem on the previous version of Netscape I was running,
4.79.

How can I get Netscape to open only 1 window? I'd really like to avoid
switching to Internet Explorer or other browser, and also don't want
to switch from Eudora.

p16,

I had nothing but trouble with NS6 - it fought with Eudora (same
problem you're having), it fought with Gravity, and generally made
online life unpleasant. It was irritating! Since I paid for Gravity
and Eudora, though, I decided to ditch NS, and couldn't be happier
about the decision.

I understand the reluctance to change browsers - it's a dreadful pain
in the neck to save bookmarks and the like. Even so, you might
consider switching to Mozilla:

http://www.mozilla.org

You can import all of your NS bookmarks without a hassle, and Mozilla
behaves in much the same manner as NS, but without the Eudora
conflicts.

Good luck!
