I am planning to visit Auckland New Zealand and want to rent an
apartment or house preferably near the sea for a week starting on 26
December 2002. I have tracked down a number of options but none looks
great - the Hilton apartments are badly laid out, the Sebel ones are
too expensive because of the Americas Cup, The Auckland Serviced
Apartments are a possibility but I'd like to do better. Other ones on
the web like the Cintra and the Barrycourt are awful (I've seen them).
I want 2-3 bedrooms, a very high class of fittings and I'd like an
honest independent review of the place before I book.

I don't know if this will help but I just did a web search on
"Timeshare Rentals" and in the 3 min. I spent I found a link for a
Beach house - 5 Bedrooms - 2 baths (showers only) - (Sleeps 2-13
Comfortably)(They are asking for $1000NZ per Week ($469US)(If the
quality is not to your par I am sure there are other site in New
Zealand that would offer Timeshare rentals)

Bon Voyage!
