Is it possible for me to find information on the internet myself for
modern data concerning birth records (1970-1995), a person's legal
name, or  birth parents without hiring this type of seach done for me?
If so, what sites do I use for each of these?

I am searching for the ages &/or birthdates and full legal names for a
family in CA.  (Ventura County)

Have you tried state dept. of Vital Records? Anything on a birth
certificate would help, I suppose...
