Hi inga-ga:

First, I'd like to congratulate you on your willingness to give of
yourself in volunteering. It is a very rewarding thing to do. :-)

I've done some research for you, keeping in mind the areas you've said
you like to avoid, and found the following volunteer opportunities
that might interest you and put your varied skills to use.

So, in no particular order:

1.
Opportunity: Festival Support at the World Festival of Sacred Music

Angeles, with more than forty-five musical events produced in venues

The main categories of volunteer opportunities are as follows:
1. Marketing Distribution
2. Fundraising/House Parties
3. Visual Arts/Urban Prayer Flags

For even further *individual* opportunities, I suggest browsing
through the results of the Google Search I used to answer this
question:

"volunteer opportunities" "santa monica" OR "Beverly Hills" OR "Los
Angeles"

I hope this sets you on the road to finding interesting, fulfilling
work in the volunteer world. If you need any clarification of what
I've provided, please ask for it using the Clarification process
before you rate this answer.

Thanks - and good luck!
