I have found some information on MDF and other forest products
production for those years. However, I cannot obtain any information
broken down by thickness of products.

Also, I'd like to know what you mean by MDF. I know that MDF means
"Medium Density Fiberboard" but that seems to encompass a number of
wood products and panels. The main reason I ask is that you refer to
"high and medium density fiberboard" in your heading, but only refer
to "medium density fiberboard" in your question text.

I can provide you with information on imports and exports for China
and South Korea, and from that extrapolate consumption. However,
Taiwan is considered to be a part of China by the sources I have
found, so individual statistics for Taiwan appear to be difficult to
obtain.

If you would like the information I have compiled thus far, I will
gladly post it and the resources I have obtained as an answer, but I
don't want to do so until I hear from you, as it may not be exactly
the answer to your question.

Thank you.
