Hello.

Here's the listing from the Library of Congress catalog [
http://catalog.loc.gov ]

Author:	Marcuse, Katherine.
Main Title: Never ask for a goochoo bird; a good manners story.
Publisher: New York, Parents' Magazine Press, 1962
Description: unpaged. illus. 30 cm.
LC Classification: PZ8.M336 Ne

I've found a bookseller that has the book for sale for $10:
THE BOOKSTORE
Horse Cave, KY, U.S.A.
Phone: 270-786-3084.
Email: bookstore@horsecave.com
Listed on Abebooks.com:
http://dogbert.abebooks.com/abe/BookDetails?bi=7936431

Note that the listing only lists the author, Katherine Marcuse, and
the subtitle, "A Good Manner Story." I called The Bookstore, and spoke
to a gentleman named Tom Chaney. Mr. Chaney verified that the book is
indeed "Never Ask For a Goochoo Bird: A Good Manners Story" by
Katherie Marcuse. The book is available for sale.

search strategy: Library of Congress catalog, abebooks

I hope this helps.
