Hi there, The ASUS website has the user manual in PDF format: http://www.asus.com/pub/asus/mb/slot1/440bx/p3b-f/p3bf-105.pdf On page 19 it has a list of supported processors, with fastest being a Pentium III 700 Mhz Some third party sites give the maximum as... Pentium III 600 http://www.hardwarezone.com/reviews/mb/asus_p3bf/p3bf.htm Pentium III 550 http://www.hardwarecentral.com/hardwarecentral/reviews/889/3/ Pentium III 850 http://www.computing.net/cpus/wwwboard/forum/1965.html Pentium III 800 http://www.ocia.net/reviews/asusp3bf/p3bf.shtml To upgrade the BIOS to the latest version, get the download from this page (which suggests 850 Mhz is possible): http://usa.asus.com/download/mbdriver/slot1-440bx.htm Search Strategy: P3B-F site:asus.com ://www.google.com/search?q=P3B-F+site%3Aasus.com asus P3B-F processor ://www.google.com/search?num=30&hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=asus+P3B-F+processor+ I trust this answers your question. If any portion of my answer is unclear, please ask for clarification. Best wishes, robertskelton-ga |
