sex/relationships. She would come out & flop on a couch & call people
dipsy doodlers.

Are you referring to Dr. Ruth Westheimer?

If not...
Can you be a bit more specific on which
cable she was on? In the early 80's and
90's cable wasn't widespread with the
same cable channels everywhere.

Do you have any other info about her?
Height, weight, nationality that we
could go on?

thanks

It was not Dr. Ruth. She was on a syndicated show of some kind.
Probally 40 something..Attractive..Everytime she made her entrance she
would come out & fall over the back of the couch & called everyone
doodle boppers..Really funny, i think she took phone calls. I was
picking her up on dss but i cant remember what channel. This is
driving me nuts! PDJ

Do you have any other clues you can give? Some of the guests maybe?
Check this list and see if her name appears on it:

No, It was none of them..I don't think she had any guests, just took
phone calls or read letters..I don't exactly remember which. It wasn't
a comedy show..Think a funny & kind of sexy Ann Landers. Could have
been in the early 80's. Remember the phrase doodle boppers & her
comeing out & falling over the couch in kind of a sexy way. She might
have been some kind of Dr. but i just don't remember. I sure wish i
could think of more, this is driving me crazy. Thank you pdj

Is there any chance that you're thinking of "Dixie Wetsworth," a
character from Fox's "Mad TV" series?

"Dixie" (played by Mary Scheer) was the hostess of "Cabana Chat," a
weekly skit loaded with naughty innuendo and double-entendres.
