ked --

It appears from what's available on-line that the last appearance of
Dynagear Inc., of Downer's Grove, IL, in bankrupty court was about 45
days ago. At that time there was a motion for a sale on some or all
of the company's 8 business units. You can find the Aug. 6 calendar
for the presiding judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern
District of Illinois on-line by using the following Google search
strategy:
Dynagear + bankruptcy

When viewing Judge Wedoff's calendar, be sure to use the CACHED page
that Google retains showing an older historical page.

A check of Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times,
Crain's Chicago Business and Arlington Heights Herald web pages have
no information about the outcome of Dynagear's financial
restructuring. As you can see using the search above, nothing newer
is apparent on the the Internet.

In June, Babcox Engine Builder Magazine (July 26, 2002) reported on
Dynagear's original chapter 11 filing in an article titled "Dynagear
Seeks Buyers For Select Operating Units":
http://www.babcox.com/editorial/ar/eb7026.htm

The article mentions Dresner Investment Services being hired to handle
the sale of the company's 8 businesses, but searching the Dresner site
doesn't turn up any information on a sale:
http://www.dresnerco.com/

A final note on staying on top of the case on-line. Judge Wedoff's
weekly calendar is available ahead of time on-line here:
http://www.ilnb.uscourts.gov/JudgeWedoff/425Wedoff.htm

A check every weekend would show what's coming up. He hears Chapter
11 cases on Tuesday and Thursdays.
