I am installing a set of php scripts that interface with a MySQL
database. I am getting a: Fatal Error undefinded function
mysql_connect().

I have looked on the net extensivly to help determine the problem with
no luck.

I am running RedHat Linux 7.2 with Apache and the following installed
from rpms:
MySQL-4.0.1-2
MySQL-client-4.0.1-2
php-4.2.3-1
phpmysql-4.1.3-1

I have no trouble using php or the mysql databases by themselves.
There does seem to be a lot of discussion on the net about this, but I
don't see any good answers posted.

I am figuring it is a problem with my php.ini (I have it set to
connect with mysql on the default port). or maybe another rpm I need
to install???

Thanks--
Todd
