Have an oil painting, still life, open book on table, ashtray,
pipe, etc., approx 33 by 26 inches. The artist who signed the
painting is ALVAREZ DES. I believe he is a Spanish painter, who
lived in Puerto Rico. He died about 15/20 years ago in his nineties.
I'm told his works are in the museum in Madrid. I was also told it was
valuable. Would like to know if this is indeed valuable (approx how
much?) and who can I contact to arrange for a sale?
