Hi sqa...

Are you needing to replace a lost serial #?

Hi sqa360,

I'm sure you've read Google Answers Terms of Service at...

As is noted in sentence three of Item #2 ("Proper Use"), you agreed
when signing up for the service "not to submit questions or comments
designed to elicit responses that relate to illegal activity or that
infringe upon another party's intellectual property rights." So,
obviously, we can only provide legal methods for obtaining an ACT! 6
serial number. In order, those are...

If you don't own ACT! 6.0, you can purchase a licensed copy, $189.95
downloadable or $199.95 packaged from the ACT! store. You can also
upgrade if you already have an earlier, licensed copy of ACT! on your
system. The serial number will be provided to you in all cases. The
purchase link is at...

If you already have ACT! installed: "If you no longer have the white
ACT! CD envelope that displays the serial number, the serial number is
listed on the About ACT! dialog box found by clicking the Help menu
and choosing About ACT!"
according to the technical support FAQ at...

Finally, you can contact ACT! technical support. There's an 800#
available if you purchased your copy of ACT! within the last 30 days.
Otherwise, the cost will be $29.95. I spoke to someone in ACT!
customer service, who said it might be possible, but not a certainty
without speaking to you directly, that they could provide a
replacement copy. Requirements would include a receipt or some other
proof that you have a legally purchased copy of ACT! and return of the
original CD. If you purchased online from ACT!, they'll have a copy of
the transaction in their records, of course.

The link to the contact numbers/email can be found at..
