I am looking for a list that shows the most frequently used color combinations and mascots by US high schools. The list should be in rank order, have at least the top 15 combinations and be precise as to the colors (for example, Navy Blue as opposed to just Blue). |

Hi superfluous: After some intensive searching, I was able to find the top 10 high nicknames and the top 11 high school color combinations for *MICHIGAN* state. I was not, however, able to find a similar listing for the entire U.S. However, since Michigan is a pretty large state, I think you could extrapolate from this data for a good idea of what is the case in the whole country. I was able to find a database of 18,000 U.S. high schools in the U.S. (and Canada) where each school has the color and mascot information, but the information is not compiled for those specific items over all the data. Access to this database costs $99.00. If this type of information is sufficient for your needs, please let me know and I will post it. If it is not, then I'll have to let someone else try to answer this for you. Thanks. websearcher-ga |

Websearcher, I had actually located the Michigan list earlier and it was not quite broad enough for the purpose. I anticipate there to be variations between states, often influenced by the major collegiate colors or state colors. Thanks for the efforts though. Superfluous |

Hi superfluous: Thanks for the reply! Sorry that no-one's been able to help you yet. Here's the link for the $99 product I told you about earlier: http://www.collegiatedirectories.com/highschool/moreinfo.asp websearcher-ga |
