Hi! Thanks for visiting us.

1. Would US companies just accused of being sweatshops be included.
2. Would sweatshops owned by foreigners but its products being bought
by US companies be included as well.
3. And lastly, you said "exact locations" does this mean the complete
address or for example a city in China or a country's name, would be
considered as a legitimate answer.

Just let me know.

I have started researching for your question and found a great amount
of data. However; it seems that the accused sweatshops are contractors
of the big companies like Nike. The process is the US company just
moves its production in another country where labor is cheap and get a
manufacturing firm to make its product.

Would these type of companies constitute as an acceptable answer since
this is the widely used practice and has been a constant target of
lawsuits and media attention?

Just let me know.

An example of this would be like:

Taiwan Apparel Factories for Reebok

On Asia/ Yen San Manufacture Co. Ltd.
No. 461 Loo-Pu Rd.
Loo-Pu Village. Don San Area
I-Lan Hsien

Would something like this be ok? Thanks again.

My research is yielding the same results. I know, for example, that a
number of maquiladoras (twin plants) in Mexico are U.S. owned, and
have received attention for "sweatshop-like" conditions. I want to
find similar instances of such U.S. owned "factories, plants, etc." in
other areas of the world. However, information like the example you
give for Reebok will be great, as I'm beginning to suspect that
outside of Mexico, the factories will be mostly foreign-owned, but the
products will be contracted by U.S. businesses. I look forward to
seeing the data you've gathred.
