Regimental at least; lower levels would be nice.

Dear blackflash,

I have contacted, among others, British military institutions and the
Municipal Archives in Lübeck. Please be patient, I hope to receive
some information on this soon.

Dear blackflash,

I am very sorry to say that my reseach has, alas, led nowhere. Neither
the Lübeck City Archives, nor the Lübeck Municipal Library have
satisfying sources regarding the British units garrisioned in the town

The Imperial War Museum (London) wrote me the following, which might
be of use for your further investigations:

For an order of battle you will access to the material held by the
Public Record Office, Ruskin Avenue, Kew, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 4DU.

Although the PRO offers a limited number of what it calls 'paid
searches' of specific areas of its collection, it is frequently still
necessary to visit in person (having first arranged to have a reader's
ticket issued) or else to employ a professional researcher to visit
for you. Details can be obtained from the Search Department at Kew
(tel. (020) 8876-3444, http://www.pro.gov.uk).

I hope these details are of assistance to you.

Obviously a more difficult question but Scriptor turned up some
sources, and perhaps just as important, some dead-ends that I won't
have to pursue. Thanks, it was well worth the payment!
