Hello galtee,

And thank you for your question!

I found a great looking pair at NetSkate,
http://www.netskate.com/qout.asp :

Chicago Quad Cruiser Sneaker Skate
List Price: $45.00
Our Price: $43.00
You Save $2.00

Radical cross trainer upper. Cool 58mm ice blue transparent wheels and
toe stop. Fast precision bearings. Super strong composite chassis with
double action trucks. Sizes J13-6. Full Sizes Only. Girls/Ladies need

fit into this skate shoe.
Product#: QSK042

I then found a very interesting page on Inline skating that has a lot
of information on quads, as well:
http://inlineskating.about.com/cs/skates/ . Included on this page are:

50 Skate Manufacturers
Manufacturers of all types of inline skates and quad skates.

150 Skate Shops
Inline skate shops all over the world, organized by country and by
shop name.

Types of Skates
Aggressive, artistic, hockey, recreation, speed, quad, off-road,
removable wheels, Street Flyers, gasoline powered skates, and more.

Skate Catalogs
Where to buy skates online, via mail order, and in skate shops.

And...

Skate Reviews
Reviews of roller skates, boots and frames, including inline skates
and quad (conventional) roller skates

There are hyperlinks for all of these on the above mentioned page. I
followed the link on Skate Catalogs and some links were inappropriate
or non functional. I went directly to www.newskates.com as this was
one defective link, and found a great page of high quality quads
ranging from $125 to about $180.
http://www.newskates.com/index.asp?incatuid=20&fcmd=cat . They have
quite a selection of 4 wheelers, speed skates, quad hockey skates,
large sizes and more.

Low Price Skates at http://www.lowpriceskates.com/quad-speed-skates.html
, shows a reasonable selection of outdoor speed quads from $75 -175.

I then searched quad +outdoor +"roller skates" +speed just to see if
getting more specific brought up better results, although I had
already found quite a range of prices and style selections. This found
Skatebuys at http://www.skate-buys.com/quadoutskat1.html with a VERY
large selection and a wider price range yet - approx $50-275.00.

SkateMall at http://www.skatemall.com/qsskates.htm shoews an amzing
selection with prices now up to well over $700 per pair. If you are
looking for professional quality, this may well be the place you
should look.

You also might find the reviews by end users at Epinions helpful in
making a decision: http://www.epinions.com/sprt-All-Hockey-Skates-7544171-Roller

I trust this has provided a wide selection of price, style and quality
for you to consider. Enjoy your new skates!

Best regards,

Just one more thought - If you are not going to use the skates
indoors, make sure you purchase a strictly 'outdoor' skate.
Indoor/outdoor combination skates will not be as speedy outside. I
did a ton of investigation before plunking down a ton of cash for my
quads.
