Hi! Thanks for the question. Just to clarify:

1. You want to know how the Internet could be use for data collection.
By data collection you mean data on marketing concepts. or business
competitors, or business news, or colecting information on your online
customers?

2. Do you want articles wich discusses data collection for marketing
purposes?

If you could give us some more info on the objective of this research,
then that would be better.

The question is an assignment for a student majoring in Marketing.
This is the beginning of her first year at St. George's University in
Grenada.

Your parameters in 1) and 2) seem to be accurate.

Thanks for coming back. Unfortunately Google Answers are not allowed
to answer questions which are for schoolwork or assignments per se.
Students could use Google Answers as a valuable resource but not to
answer the school work itself.
