A company named ALUKA of Chicoutimi, Quebec several years ago made a lightweight telescoping crutch and walking stick for compactness in travel. They were subsequently bought out by Paramedic of the same town and who apparently quit making them. The relevant patents were US 4809725 and Canadian 1264265 with inventor Patrick Champigny. A friend has one in use. I wish to buy one or two of these either new or used. Where can I purchase these now and for how much each? | |
