What are the figures for the number of subscribers to various
broadband internet services in the San Francisco Bay Area? For
instance, how many subscribers are there to AT&T Broadband internet?
SBC DSL internet? Verizon? Covad? Those are the big ones, I think, but
I'd be interested in hearing about the smaller ones too.
I'm interested in the SF Bay Area metropolitan area. Also,
how could I have found this info on my own?

Have you tried calling the companies' PR people? Always worked for me
when I needed such figures at the paper I used to work for. I would
see if they have any PR representatives in their Bay Area offices,
something you can probably find out by calling their corporate
headquarters.
