Hello Paintboy,

From your description, I cannot tell the method you are using to
access Lotus Notes remotely. Is it one of...
 - using the web interface
 - using dial up to connect to your network and using Notes as if you
were in the office
 - or something else?

The first two would imply the message is "already sent". If not sent,
it could be stored in the drafts, there is no outbox. Check the Drafts
or Sent folder to see if your message is there.

If you use something else - please describe it so I can do research
and get you an answer.

Hi,

You may already have found this out for yourself, but I thought I'd
add something.

In Notes, there are two places you can look for your message. The
first place is in your Sent view inside your Notes mail file. If
configured, all messages you send will also be kept here as a copy.

As for the outbox, this is a second database which is created when
Notes is configured for dial-up. The database is called mail.box, and
can opened as follows.

From the Notes client, please Ctrl-O. This present the Notes Open
Database dialog box. In the third field at the bottom (file name),
enter mail.box. The database will no open.

All messages which you have sent will be stored here until you connect
to your home Notes server.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Steve
