Question ID: 66252
What is the market outlook for online imaging for plastic and cosmetic
surgery (referred to as PCS below) services, like the one provided by
angelslab.com and aprille.com? I don't need general stats about PCS,
have enough already. Everything indicates it's booming. I need figures
on the market conditions for PCS information websites such as
ienhance.com, idealme.com, and talksurgery.com. Within the scope of
these websites that help people with making decisions about PCS, I'm
also specifically interested in facts and figures about the online
imaging for PCS sites like the ones mentioned above. If you can find
the number of orders these types of sites process, that would be
swell. Thanks.

Just curious as to why I haven't gotten a response, not even a
comment. Is this information too hard to find, or is the inquiry not
clear? Or is it that the topic is not of interest to the researchers?

I browsed through some question and answer sessions before posting my
inquiry. I'm really impressed with the quality of the responses, and
am hoping somebody might be able to assist me as well.

Please let me know if you need any clarifications etc. Someone at
least post a comment so I know the question is not being shunned like
a red-headed stepchild ;).

K, thanks for your input.

I understand your point about the niche market statistics. The number
of orders is an extra. It would be pretty hard to get those numbers,
especially from an online medium, but I threw it in there so at least
you experts could have a go at it. I'll take out the online imaging
part completely.

Here's the latest question - What is the market outlook for online
information portals and support communities for plastic and cosmetic
surgery (referred to as PCS below), like the ones provided by
ienhance.com, idealme.com, and talksurgery.com? I don't need general
stats about PCS, have enough already. Everything indicates it's
booming. I need some facts and figures on the market conditions for
such websites.

Thanks!

Hi thehambloke,

Since you’ve asked why your question hasn’t been addressed yet, I’ll
venture an answer (or at least my opinion). The difficulty is in the
information you’ve asked for. Market data specific to particular
companies or websites or even very narrow fields of interest are
generally not available publicly. In fact lots of market data is not
available publicly. Specific facts and figures and number of orders
processed by the sites are probably just not out there

I’m sure, given that you’ve offered a decent amount of money for your
question, many researchers have looked at it and maybe even done some
preliminary searching to see what’s out there, and I suspect, came up
with nothing.

As far as researchers not being interested in your topic; not
possible! We’re an eclectic bunch here and I have yet to see a single
topic that doesn’t catch *anyone’s* interest. If the price is right,
the question clear, and the answer out there, we’ll answer it!

I’m not sure how to advise you on getting the information you need.
Maybe you can think of a way to rephrase your question or break it
into smaller bites that a researcher can tackle.

Finally, understand that the researchers are working from an
“unanswered questions” list that is sorted based on most recent
activity. When I post this comment your question will rise to the top
of that list. If you respond it will do so again, thus any
clarification you post will be noticed immediately.

We’d sure like to help you out, so give your question another shot.

-K~
