I would like to purchase a Forth/Assembler ROM (Software Pac, model
number 5061-7234) for the Hewlett-Packard 71B handheld
computer/calculator.
More information on this computer can be found here, <a
href="http://www.hpmuseum.org/hp71.htm">HP-71B</a>
I've already tried the classifieds, <a
href="http://www.hpmuseum.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/hpmuseum/adforum.cgi?read=8069">HP-71B
FORTH/Assembler ROM (WTB)</a>
And, I've been checking eBay. The last one sold there with a bunch of
other stuff for $500, back in August, <a
href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1375395210&rd=1">HP-71B
Calc/Computer w/lots of stuff -NR!!!</a>
I'm looking to spend more like $150 (or, of course, less). Online,
mail-order, by phone, or, in the San Jose area would be great.

Thanks!

Thanks, but, I've seen that! Unfortunately, you need a ROM dump to
get the emulator to work, and, I don't have the serial interface, or
the disk drive! If someone could point me to a ROM image (preferably
for both the computer, and the Forth/Assembler module), that'd be
great!

I do belive there are other Forth compatible Handhelds out there. and
the ROms for those might be available.
