I need to know what the average daily sales are for a bakery in West Virginia. A stand alone bakery (like "Mom and Pop's Bakery") is prefered over an in-store bakery (like in a grocery store). The information can either be total sales for the day or #of products sold (which I prefer). Or any way that can establish what daily or monthly sales are. |

cavermommy - I took a look at some of the 127 retail bakeries that are listed in Reference USA (a business database). One of the fields in their reports is for annual revenues (which you could divide by 365 to get daily revenue). Unfortunately, the vast majority of these bakeries are listed as "under $500,000" - the lowest figure the source allows. Clearly there is a lot of variation in that range. Sorry not to have found anything specific for you! librariankt |
