What is the market potential in the US for a company that teaches
software compliance to companies?

It would help researchers to know what kind of software, and what kind
of rules with which the software or company needs to comply. For
instance, software for banks and other financial institutions must be
compliant with FASB, SEC, and IRS regulations. Pharmaceutical,
biotechnology, and cosmetic companies must run software that provides
compliance with environmental monitoring regulations. If a company
that creates PC software wants to sell lots of software packages, it
should comply with industry standards for interfaces with other
hardware and software products.
