IS there a site available where I can submit my banner to thousands of
websites and guarantee my banner showing on all of them? Money is not
an issue, I need the traffic!

What we need is a site like cj.com but instead of just putting our
banner up for grabs, we would pay a flat fee for X amount of leads
generated from impressions. And the banner would guaranteed to be
shown on X number of websites.

Hi fatsteve,

There are a couple main types of systems for banner advertising. The
first doesn't cost you anything until someone clicks on your banner
(per click). This means more strategically placed banners, less risk,
and free name recognition to all who don't click on your banner. The
down side is that generally smaller web sites that will use this type
of system.

The other system calculates cost per impression (CPM system). Every
time your banner is loaded and shown to a web surfer, you pay. This
system is more widely used on larger scale web sites that have a lot
more traffic, and can get pretty costly. Also, there is less
motivation for these people to place your ad strategically, although
some banner promotion programs have strict guidelines as to where the
ad should be placed (top of page, at the bottom, etc). The placement
of your ad could also determine cost. The banner being displayed at
the top of the page might cost more than if it is at the bottom.

Now, having given you this general information which I have learned
through my many years of surfing the web, and being a webmaster, here
is an article/web site which discusses the main systems and gives you
some links to banner advertises which use the discussed systems:

BANNER ADVERTISING
http://www.iboost.com/promote/advertising/banner_advertising/

Now that you have learned a little about the different systems
available, here are some links to people who actually promote banners.
I will list the type of promotions they do (cost per impression, or
cost per click).

CLICK AGENTS (cost per click system)
http://www.clickagents.com/

ACCESS-US.COM (free, CPM system)
http://access-us.com/banner.htm

BANNER ADVERTISING
http://www.bannersadvertising.com/

VALUE CLICK
http://www.valueclick.com/

The nice thing about the above mentioned web sites is that you do not
need to spend time checking if your banner is advertised, as these
companies will do that. They pay money to their clients to show
banners, which others sell for showcase. By ensuring that web sites
who receive money for banner showcase are doing their job, they
protect their own interest while protecting yours as well (can you
think of a better way to make someone protect your interests than
making your interests directly dependent on theirs? :)

If none of the above appeal to you, I found a list of about 10 more
promoters of banners:

BANNER ADVERTISING NETWORKS
A list of about 10 more different promoters.
http://webreference.com/promotion/banners/networks.html

Have you ever considered advertising your banner in software? There
are a lot of developers that provide free software that displays
banner ads. If the thought sounds interesting, here are a couple of
developers that will post your banner in their software:

OPERA
One of the fastest growing Internet Browsers offers a free version of
the browser that displays banner ads.
http://www.opera.com/advertise/

AWS Convergence Technologies INC.
Includes banner and other types of advertisements in their Weather Bug
(www.weatherbug.com) software.
http://aws.com/aws_2001/advertisers/

I hope this helps. If none of the links are helpful, or if I swayed
of on the wrong track, please ask for a clarification and I will try
to provide more narrow information.

Thank you for your question.

I think that I might have asked the wrong question. I will give you
the desired result. We want to pay a flat rate (cpa, cpm) to an
affiliate network to post our banner ad on as many of their
affiliates' websites as possible. We want the banner in as many sites
at once as possible. Can you refine your answer to address only that
area? For example, we pay $5 per form submission to Xcompany.com and
Xcompany.com post our banner on X number of their affiliates'
websites.

Good Day,

Did you check out the links I gave you? The reason I am asking is
that some of the URLs I listed do just that, if I understand you
correctly. For example:

ACCESS-US.COM (free, CPM system)
http://access-us.com/banner.htm

Here is a link, which tells you some of their affiliates, which they
would post your banner at:
http://wwbcity.com/start.htm
http://wwbcity.com/start2.htm &
http://wwbcity.com/start3.htm

2000 impressions costs $25.00. So for $25 your banner will be
displayed 2000 times, on the different sites at the above links.

Do I understand this right? If so, some of the links I originally
gave you have this information. If you wish I can pick them out for
you or find additional ones, but I want to make sure that I am giving
you the right info after all. Please advise.

Thank you for your patience.

slawek-ga

We have called everyone on the list and most of them we either got
voicemail with no one returning the calls yet or they are copycats of
commission junction (cj.com). The thing is, with 2000 impressions
costing $25 is a low figure for my client. They are already
advertising everywhere including GoogleAdwords. They want 2000 (or
more) different websites giving them dedicated banner ad space all at
the same time with a CPA type or commission per acquisition model
generating hundreds in filled out forms per day. This goes way beyond
the scope of a normal banner ad campaign, hence the question posted to
you! The best example I can is this:

Say I had a website where I was willing to pay referers $5 per form
submission. I want to go to some company to pay them to saturate their
affiliate network. Here are a couple of caveats. The number of
websites displaying my banner must be a big, big number, and it must
be guaranteed. Most affiliate programs do not guarantee that your
banner will be showing on 2000 websites simultaneously.

I hope this helps...
