In 1989, Peter Brooks did a film version of the Mahabharata. It came with a booklet that listed the main characters (the Pandavas, the Kuravas, the main gods) and who they were. Unfortuneately I have lost the booklet I am going to show the film to my Non Western Lit class and would love to give them the list of characters to help them keep track of the story. Is there anyplace I could look for a listof main characters of the Mahabharata? We are also using Wm Buck's translation of the Mahabharata, but it doesn't include a list of characters. aleadbet@mesastate.edu |
