Well, I've got to admit I'm intrigued by this one, John Paul. I'm a
pretty rabid Cash fan, and I've never heard of this album. There's no
listing in his "official" discography. Thre's no bootleg of that title
I can find. The only reference I can find to a "Ladybird" is an
obscure song co-written by Nancy Sinatra that Cash/Carter don't appear
to have ever performed.

Could you share a little more information on "Ladybird"?

regards,

rico

Hi johnnymyjoy,

There's no Johnny Cash & June Carter album titled "Ladybird", nor did
either of them record for Ladybird Records, nor is there any track
called "Ladybird" in their discographies.

Are you perhaps looking for the album "Carrying On With Johnny Cash &
June Carter"? Or perhaps one of the other albums where both of them
sang (with one or both credited as the album artist)?

Regards,
eiffel-ga

Thought I'd try one more time, John. Would you care to elaborate on
exactly what you're looking for, given that there's no immediately
apparent connection between Johnny Cash, June Carter and the term,
"Ladybird"? We'll be happy to search for an answer if you'd like to
clarify your question.

regards,

rico

I too have had immense difficulty summoning to mind or finding a
'Ladybird'. Martin Strong's 'The Great Rock Discography' has an entry
for Johnny Cash going over 5 large pages, and the nearest thing there
is an LP called 'Lady' [Premier; February 1987].
