What type of conectors should I put on a Cat5E cable to jump between a
Router and a Mac computer,and how long can the cable be. I need 150 feet.

Safarri,

The connectors on either end should be RJ45.

As for length, there are some basic standards found at:
http://www.homenethelp.com/web/explain/maximum-cable-length.asp

The maximum length for 10BaseT (10 MBPS Cat5) is 100 meters, or 330ft.
Anything longer than that will start to have faults, so you should be
fine at 150 feet.
