Hi again emmalee!

Once again you’ve given us a wide-open challenge here: “Most famous
and distinguished photographers.”   There are so many! And so many
different categories to choose from: Portrait photographers, nature
photographers, photo-journalist, fine arts photographers, leaders in
technological developments of photography, documentary photographers,
advertising and media photographers…. the list goes on and on …

What I did for you here is pull out some of the big names in each
field. Below the names are some source lists for you to work from. I
highly recommend the Kodak site. There are 23 names right on their
front page that are leaders in their field (although not all apply to
the late century).  I didn’t repeat what’s already listed there since
they provide the links for you.

You also didn’t specify the country you want this for. I assumed US
based on your other questions, but just in case I have included some
international photographers.
