I'm looking for a scene from a film (I think uttered by either
Harrison Ford or Mel Gibson, but not necessarily). He is lamenting the
loss of his wife/lover, and says "I'm starting to forget what she
looked like." What film is this? (Need ASAP -- not looking for "City
of Angels" or "What Lies Beneath" or "Message in a Bottle")

Around what year did the film come out? Is it in color or B&W? Do you
remember the person's surroundings or anything else about the film?
Anyone else in it? The basic plot? Every bit helps:) Thanks!

This would have definitely have been in color, probably no older than
1985 or so, probably a 90s or early 2000s film...it seems like it was
a Harrison Ford character, but I'm just not sure. I think the scene
is set in quiet conversation with one other person, a confidant or
best friend.

Hello, Meltondan!

I am one of the world's biggest Harrison Ford fans, and this poignant
line really rings my chimes.

Harrison Ford speaks the line you've quoted in "Random Hearts," a 1999
film in which Ford plays a man whose wife has died in a plane crash.

In "Random Hearts," Ford's character and the character played by
Kristin Scott Thomas, who lost her husband in the same crash, become
emotionally involved as they gradually realize that their respective
spouses were having an affair with each other.

You can find more information about "Random Hearts" in the Internet
Movie Database, here:

http://us.imdb.com/Title?0156934

I hope this answers your question. If further explanation is needed,
please request clarification.

Best wishes,
pinkfreud

I wondered if that film could be it...thank you!

Do you have any idea at about what point in this film this line is
spoken? I just need to look at that scene...

I don't have a copy of the film, and my memory of it is pretty faint
(it isn't one of my favorite Ford movies,) so I'm afraid I can't point
you toward the exact scene.

The main reason I remembered that line is because the line was in a
brief clip from "Random Hearts" that was shown as part of a tribute to
Harrison Ford during the 2002 Golden Globes Awards.

OK, thanks...BTW, I hated that movie too! Good acting, but....ZZZZZ!

No other clarification necessary!

Thanks for the four-star rating. If I get a sudden insight regarding
the scene in which that line appears, I'll post it. This is the kind
of thing that sometimes springs into one's head in the middle of the
night. ;-)
