<There are two methods that are recommended for the propagation of
prunus gf 677. These are T-budding and chip budding. The following
websites describe the process in detail with illustrations of the
techniques:>

<I apologise for any misunderstanding. This appears to be the
information that you are searching for.

In order to propagate prunus gf677 by leaf cutting you need to use a
mist propagation technique. This reduces respiration and
transpiration. It produces roots within 35 days with a 90% success
rate.

Equipment needed:
1. A closed environment provided by for example a polythene igloo. The
igloo should be whitewashed to reduce light intensity by two-thirds.
2. Misting equipment that can be activated at timed intervals.
3. A clean water supply with a pressure of up to 240 kPa.
4. Medium of equal parts perlite and vermiculite.
5. A solution of indole butyric acid (IBA) at 1000 ppm in 50% ethanol
and diluted with distilled water to 1000ml. This should be kept out of
sunlight and refrigerated. Decant off the amount of solution needed
for the procedure to avoid contaminating your stock of solution. The
solution should be discarded when it becomes dirty or discoloured.
6. Sterilised seedling trays – 60 mm deep (Biogram is a suitable
sterilising medium).

Propagation procedure:
This procedure should be carried out in November of early December.
1. Prepare the sterilised seed trays. Fill with the medium and water
so that it is saturated. Allow the trays to drain.
2. Take the leaf cuttings, selecting healthy leaves.
3. Treat with the IBA solution by dipping the leaf cutting into it up
to a depth of at least 10 mm for 10 seconds.
4. Plant the cutting deep into the medium.
5. When the tray is prepared, place the tray under the mist.
6. Administer five seconds of misting every five minutes during the
day and five seconds every five every hour at night. Water by hand.
7. After 35 start to increase the intervals between misting at night.
For the subsequent days increase the interval of nighttime misting by
five minutes each day.
8. After 5 days stop misting and at night move the trays to a 50%
light house.
9. Harden off the cuttings. To test if they are suitably hardened off,
place some cutting outside for one hour during the hottest part of the
day up to a maximum temperature of 35 degrees. If their condition does
not deteriorate, they are suitable for planting out.
10. Plant out and continue watering by hand. In addition use an
irrigation system such as a trickle line to water for at least eight
hours.
11. Use a suitable weed control product such as Treflan or oryzalin.
12. After two to three weeks, select the strongest shoot and remove
the other shoots.
13. Treat with crown gall inoculum to prevent gall infection.
14. Treat for oriental fruit moth.
15. In autumn use a copper spray for protection against gummosis
infection.>
