Greetings!

Please forgive me, today has been one of those days. Besides the fact
that I posted a clarification under comments not once but twice, I
also left out words and other significant items. So I would like to
start on a clean slate and post a new request for clarification. :)

What is your general location and are you willing to have items
shipped?
How many pieces are you hoping to purchase and are there specific
dimensions you require? The more descriptive you are about your
request the easier it will be for a researcher to try to help you
locate your items.

Thank you

Request for Question Clarification by madsky101-ga on 30 Sep 2002 05:04 PDT
Hello!

I think I have located a source for your furniture needs. They seem
to offer many styles of mirrored tables and other pieces of furniture.
They also mention that they can create specific items if they do not
have them in stock.

I am posting this as a clarification because this particular mirrored
furniture site does not post prices. I have made a request for a
price list and descriptions of the items they have available. I also
requested an estimate on a whitewashed armoire with mirrored front.
Considering that I have not given them specific dimensions on the
armoire, I am unsure if they can even give me an estimate.

I will be happy to post the information as soon as I receive it, or if
you would like to deal with them directly that is fine also. Just
post your request, and I will place the contact information for this
company as an answer.

I have not posted this information as an answer because you requested
prices. It may be easier for you to obtain the prices since you know
specifically what you would like to purchase. Let me know your
decision. Unless I hear differently from you, I will wait to see if
the company will send me a price list. I will pass on the information
as soon as it is received.

Hi! I just spent 20 minutes writing a clarification, and then clicked
"send" instead of using the post clar. button here...so it is lost
forever. Oh, well. Here goes a shortened version: I am looking for
several different pieces of mirrored furniture to do a room primarily
in glass furniture...a true decorating challange! I have seen two such
rooms in articles within the past year and a half, and they were
wonderful! So, no particular pieces, but preferably a large secretary
armoire I can re-configure for a computer home-office, a writing desk
after the French or English style, or, whatever!, a chest, and
whatever pretty pieces I can utilize in either one or two rooms. I
will pay for the shipping so that won't be a problem. I am in
Philadelphia, center city, PA. If you can send me the name of the
manufacturer, I can try to contact them. I did, however find one about
5 months ago, who would not talk to me without a decorator (or trade
person) being involved. I hope that is NOT the case with the one you
have found. Thank you so much for your effort, and please let me know
how you are coming along! Barbara

Greetings!

I found two sources for mirrored furniture. The Fairgreen company and
Diane Watts Exquisite Mirrors and Furniture.

The Fairgreen company offers mirrored tables mostly in Art Deco style,
although Nouveau, Modern and Contemporary styles are also available.

The Fairgreen Company boasts a wide selection of completely mirrored
dining, console, bedroom and occasional tables. They also offer other
types of furniture, screens, fie surrounds and mirrored decor
accessories.

Fairgreen's website also states, "Contact us to see which of our many
design references can be adapted to your requirements, or we can
create something unique just for you."

Diane Watts Exquisite Mirrors and Furniture, enjoys a reputation for
beautifully made pieces of the highest quality, and it is proven in
her Valentino Collection. The collection consists of a three-drawer
commode, bureau plat, end table, nightstand, coffee table and several
styles of mirrors.

The Diane Watts website states, "The return to glamour in interior
design brings the mirrored furniture that evokes the Golden Age of
Hollywood to the forefront once more."

I hope that this information will help you accomplish your goals, and
it was a pleasure assisting you with your request.
