Is there any way to backup data from my Blackberry onto my Macintosh
(running 10.2)? Synching would be great, but any kind of backup would
be OK. Is there any way to save or print data from the Blackberry
with a Mac?

Hi heif,
What I've found so far indicates that at present, the RIM doesn't work
with Macs, so you can't backup, print or save your data directly to
your Mac.

There are possible indirect go-arounds though. The TASC website [1],
says "The answer is yes and no. While there is no desktop software at
present designed for a Mac operating system, Mac users can work around
this by creating an initial setup of their handheld on a PC,
synchronizing the device, and then periodically recharging (957 model
only) by connecting to the PC..."

You might also like to take a look at web services like MyDocsOnline
to send your documents from your RIM to the web and then accessing
them via the web from your Mac. "You can use your BlackBerry, with an
optional browser from vendors like Neomar or GoAmerica, to access your
files to deliver them to any email recipient as an attachment..."[2]

I hope this information will be useful for you.

Hello all,

I've been follwing this thread for a bit now and wanted to share
something that showed up in my inbox...

The PocketMac (who make Mac-to-Pocket PC sync tools) people just
announced a BlackBerry sync solution for $30. I haven't tried it yet,
but will report back here as soon as I have. Ther site is
pocketmac.net

Since I'm not going to have my BB for a few weeks, I thought I'd shar
it here. I have no idea how long it's good for, etc.

Yay! A solution! Yay! :)
