I do computer consulting as my main business, but when times are slow,
I want to be able to resell products on Ebay during my downtime.
However, every time I try to find wholesalers, my efforts are
stymied. When I try to use searh engines to locate wholesalers, I
usually find pseudo-wholesalers who sell directly to the public,
claiming "wholesale prices." I also tried write emails to Chinese
companies that manufacture DVD players and other electronics, but they
never write back. I noticed a lot of people sell designer fragrances
on Ebay, but when I tried to contact the manufacturars (Loreal, for
example), they wouldn't tell me where those Ebay sellers got their
product from.
The products I'd like to sell are: Designer fragrances, computer
parts (esp. hard drives and CD rewriters), and electronics, such as
DVD players.
If someone could either find wholesalers for me, or point some out to
me (real wholesalers, please!), I'd be much obliged.

HI,

My experience has been that the Thomas Register is the most complete
list of manufacturers in the U.S. You can visit their site

http://www.thomasregister.com/

Once you register, simply enter one or more words into the search box
after selecting the product, company, or brand name you're looking for
to search from over 72,000 product headings and more than 170,000
company listings.

It is not an answer, but hope it helps.
