Here's a page about your little "friend":
http://www3.ca.com/virusinfo/virus.asp?ID=12640

If you don't have an anti-virus program listed
on that page, I'd strongly suggest a visit to
Trend Micro's free online virus scan:
http://housecall.antivirus.com/

They have a very up-to-date virus platform,
and you can use the service anonymously, if
you like. They also have a product demo you
can download for 30 days, for free, here:
http://www.trendmicro.com/pc-cillin/download/form.asp

I tried Trend,s free online virus scan. It confirmed that the computer
had worm_ultimax.b, but when I asked fo it to be cleaned the answer
was that it was unremovable.

Next step is download the 30 day demo product to see if it will remove
it. Will let you know.

Yes, not to worry, the demo has a feature so that, if it
cannot fix or remove the virus, it will quarantine it.
Just be sure to go into the program options and locate
the quarantine section and delete it from there. Then
I'd run the AV scan again, several times in the next few
days, just to make sure it's not propagating somehow,
by way of an entry in your registry or system files.
