Think I have an answer for you. I found that the best software for editing music and mastering, adding effects, etc.. is SoundForge http://www.sonicfoundry.com/ A lot of professional studios, after laying the tracks down, send it to sound forge for mastering. The software costs about $350 - $400 I have been using it for years and has been wonderful. As far as separating the Vocals, The is no TRUE software that takes ONLY the voice, but what CAN be done, is even with SoundForge is lower some Frequencies and raise others.. that way the music is more or less in the far background.. so you're basically "pulling" out frequencies. Email the people at Sonicfoundry to verify that it will do an exceptional job of what you want to do.. but that'll probably be the best u can get |
