Can anyone give me a example essay for me to use as a refecence, it
will be use in a art theory class, and the example essay must fit the
criteria...

In attempting to pinpoint some of the defining characterstics
accociated with Postmodernism in the arts, Featherstone (1992),
pp.7-8) identifies the following:

"...the effacement of the boundary between high and mass/popular
culture; a stylistic promiscuity favouring eclecticism and the mixing
of codes; parody, irony, playfulness and the celebration of the
surface 'depthlessness' of culture' the decline of the
orginality/genius of the artistic producer'; and the assumption that
at can only be repetition."

Concentrating on at least two of the characteristics identified by
Featherstone, investigate their applicability (or otherwise) to the
work of two film makers whose films you consider to be identifiably
Postmodern in mood, style or approach. In your answer, focus on two
films (features, documentaries or shorts) at least one of which was
produced in the last two years.
