I would like to do a screen scrapping on a java applet (AWT) (in which
the GUI is in either window or IBM 3270 terminal). The data from the
screen will be scrapped out. Also, there will be an automated process
to interact with the java applet to get different kind of data. Do
you know any good component that I can use as part of my program?

Greetings!

Let me see if I understand what you want: You want to be able to take
a screen capture of a specific window with a Java application.

Do you want to get editable text from that capture, or will a simple
bitmap work?

Are you trying to manipulate the data from the screen-scrape?
