Hello

On Stoke City’s web site I found a hint of a match against Lincoln
City in February 1957 were they thrashed Lincoln by eight goals to
nil.

Neville Coleman scored seven of them.

This is still an individual record in one game.

I managed to confirm it was indeed the 23 February 2002 by looking on
the Stoke City Fan site

As you will not Stoke were in the second division and all 8 goals,
were scored in the second half.

Neville Coleman must have had some decent oranges at half time eh ?

Hope this Helps.
