Hi allengoogle-ga,

Your question has been sitting for several days unanswered, I think
because of the subjectivity of the question. Happiest? Easiest?
That’s hard to measure. Some people find Harvard easy. Some people can
barely cope with their local community college. Some people find the
challenging intellectual life at MIT fun. Others would rather be in
Southern California where they can surf between classes. One student
is happiest in the city. Another is happiest in the country. It’s
hard for a researcher, who doesn’t know you, your preferences, and
your academic background to objectively answer your question.

Now, that said, I’m going to take a stab at it anyway. (As you might
have guessed, I find intellectual challenge fun!). What I’m going to
do here is pick out a number of schools with different attributes that
may appeal to you. Then you can look closer at them to decide what
works best for you.

Not knowing your academic background, I am just going to assume that
you have the basic qualifications that these schools are asking for.
Obviously, if you don’t, then ANY graduate program is going to be
difficult (or impossible) to get in to, no matter how “easy” the
requirements.

The other thing to consider is the thesis requirement. By “easy” I’m
going to assume that you would rather not do a thesis, but instead
just complete a number of courses, so I’ve eliminated schools that
require a thesis.

Where you should start is your own state university. As long as you
meet their basic requirements, the university in the state where you
are resident will probably accept you. There are very few cuts made to
in-state residents applying to state universities.

Here are some other universities that meet your requirements -------

the background material required for success in the set of modules

“.. students may pursue the master of information technology degree or

****************************************

So, that is a summary of some of the schools that meet your
qualifications. As you can see most schools that offer this degree
program are assuming you are a professional trying to further your
career in Information technology, so the program is designed to work
around your schedule. Some are more self-paced (University of
Pennsylvania). Others group you with “cohorts” and you all move
through the program together (Purdue). You should decide which you
prefer.

Another way to get your Masters in Information Technology is to get an
online degree. A very quick search of the internet shows many programs
that are offered online, from reputable universities. Here is a short
list of accredited online Masters Programs in IT –

NOTE: When shopping for an online degree, make sure the degree is
coming from a reputable accredited university!

Also, you can use Peterson’s online directory to search for schools.
From this Graduate School page you can choose either “General Search”
to find all school offering the degree you seek, or you can choose
“Distance Learning” to find online education programs.

That should give you a good start to finding a graduate school that
suits your needs. If anything I’ve said isn’t clear, please feel free
to ask for clarification.

Dear Knowledge_seeker-ga,

Do you know any accredited university that is 'EXTREMELY REALLY EASY'
to graduate, but not like these schools "TOWSON UNIVERSITY, VIRGINIA
TECH, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY"?

I meant, high acceptance, no need to do lots of assignments and no
final graduation thesis are my top policy. I am pretty sure, they are
existing in the US. Therefore, please write me back with these kinds
of universities, I appreciate your understanding and kind assistance.
Thank you in advance!

I look forward to receiving your answer

Sincerely,

AllenGoogle

Hello Knowledge_seeker-ga,

Actually, I am looking for an 'Accelerated Accredited University in
us', which means I can earn a Master of Information Technology related
degree more quickly than regular's. And there must be easy to get
into and graduate. Would it be possible for you to tell me more about
that issue? Thanks a lot for the help!

Hi again

Accelerated?! You didn’t mention that before. But did you look at the
online schools? Most are self-paced, so your acceleration is up to
you. You take as long or as little time as you need. I think that's
the best thing for you. Having to keep pace with a classroom is going
to slow you down.

Here’s one that I would recommend. It specifically addresses
acceleration, is fully accredited, and it offers online learning
towards a Masters in Information Technology.

American InterContinental University
http://aiudegreeonline.com/2/index.jsp

AIU Online offers you:

** A dynamic, flexible curriculum reflecting current job market demand
and the latest technologies

** A ground-breaking virtual campus that takes you from classroom, to
student services, to graduation and job placement.

** Financial Aid Programs if you qualify

"Get your IT degree in as little as 10 months...

Information Technology is one of the fastest-growing career fields in
the world today. AIU Online's IT degree programs provide you with
real-world technology skills and prepare you for positions in the
demanding IT industry."

Business degree programs include: Masters, Information Technology

"The dynamic, flexible curriculum is based on market demand and
designed to keep pace with changing technologies. In addition, the
Master's of Information Technology program combines the technology
portion with key courses from AIU's business program, enhancing
students' new technical skills with a strong business background to
ensure success in the job market."

"American Inter Continental University is accredited by the Commission
on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866
Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia, 30033-4097; Telephone number
404-679-4501) to award Associate, Bachelor's and Master's degrees."

And here’s one other ------

Regis University
http://www.mscisonline.org/
Master of Science in Computer Information Technology online degree.

This online master's degree program can be completed in twelve classes
(36 semester hours) with emphasis areas in E-Commerce Engineering,
Object-Oriented, Database, or Networking Technologies. You can obtain
your CIT degree entirely through online classes with no on-campus
residency requirement.

Regis University is fully accredited by the North Central Association
of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

Either one of those should work for you. Best of luck in getting your
degree post haste!

Very good answer and useful for "Studious Student", but I am not a
studious student, so, I need the school to be fewer assignments, no
need to write final thesis, and easy to graduate, these kinds of
universities list in the US. Could you do me a favour to give me
these schools list in order to make me apply for the near future
study? Thanks a lot!

I think this may have to go down as the most unbelievable
question/answer exchange so far on Google Answers. Putting aside the
subject matter and philosophy behind the question, I think that
knowledge_seeker-ga should probably be nominated for sainthood, and
allengoogle-ga should be ashamed at himself for only rating the
answer(s) with four stars. I guess that to get a five-star rating,
knowledge-seeker should have selected the school, enrolled, fulfilled
the requirements, and then sent the degree off to allen all tied up
with a ribbon...and no work. I wish there was a way for me to direct
all *my* questions to knowledge_seeker! [shaking my head in
wonderment]
