Hello wj,

There are a number of existing bridges that use orthrotropic decks. In
the United States, they include:
 - New York City, Triborough Bridge

 - New York City, George Washington Bridge

 - San Francisco, Portions of the San Francisco, Oakland Bay Bridge
(analysis in 2000 to add pedestrian paths)

A number in Canada including the A. Murray MacKay Bridge as described
in
  http://www.eng.ucalgary.ca/CSCE-Students/structural_bridges_Canada.htm

A number of bridges in Germany as listed in
  http://nisee.berkeley.edu/leonhardt/html/steel_continuous_girder_bridges.html
See RHINE BRIDGE, COLOGNE-DEUTZ, RHINE BRIDGE AT BONN-SOUTH, and WERRA
VALLEY BRIDGE AT HEDEMÜNDEN.

Additional references can be found quite quickly with search phrases
such as
  othotropic deck bridge

I am not quite sure what you are looking for under "design detail",
but related work and reports include:
 - The Transportation Research Board (of the National Academy of
Sciences) is looking for an update to the 1963 book titled "Design
Manual for Orthotropic Steel Plate Deck Bridges". This is described as
the second problem in...
 http://gulliver.trb.org/publications/problems/A2C02-02.pdf
If the update has not been done - I would suggest a review of the
original book (from a local library?) but keep in mind the
recommendations described in the link to improve this reference.

 - A description of rehabilitation of an existing bridge in
Massachussets described in:
 http://www.bridgebuildermagazine.com/historical/chain.html
and explains some of the constraints to make the repairs without
changing how the bridge looks to the observer.

 - A report titled "Optimum Life-Cycle Cost Design of Orthotropic
Steel Deck Bridges" at...
  http://kssc.or.kr/pdf/2001vol.1%20nb2/141.pdf
which describes a number of cost / benefit trade offs as well as
including an extensive list of references.

For more references, a search with phrases such as
  othrotropic deck research analysis
can be helpful.

If these references do not meet your needs - please provide additional
details in a clarification request.
