Problem: The source for a pivot table in an excel sheet streamed through a servlet is broken when accessed through the browser. The file when saved was datasourceworksheet!(some range) however, when the file is opened through the browser we get the following datasource for the pivot table 'http://ReportServlet?paramters!datasourceworksheet!(some range)'. When this same file is streamed through a web server (an not a servlet) it works. This does not work. We don't see this problem in Excel 2000 and only see it in Excel 2002. For some reason, IE/Excel2002 is replacing the data Range source to be 'fully qualified' if the excel sheet was streamed via a servlet. Can provide snippet/worksheet if requested. |
