In the US, the USGS provides digital orthophotos of the US, and these
are available for download, and sometimes available for free.

This question is, how do I find the same kind of orthophotos for
Paris, France.

The successful answer will provide one of the following:

1. A link to a location where an orthophoto or series of orthophotos
can be downloaded for the Paris area. These must have a resolution of
at least 2meters per pixel. They can be black and white or color. The
images must at least cover Paris inside the Peripheriqe highway.


2. If you point me to a French governemt site like USGS, you must
provide exact ordering instructions, including the correct files
needed, for images that at least cover Paris inside the Peripheriqe
highway.

3. Providing a commercial vendor such as Space Imaging is not what
we're looking for, and will not be considered an answer.
