Dolgi --

Wilbert Robinson, Baltimore Orioles, June 10, 1892:
http://baseball-almanac.com/recbooks/hits.shtml

The only other person to hit 7 in a 9-inning game was Rennie Stennett,
Pittsburgh Pirates, 1975.

Only one player has hit more than 7 -- Johnny Burnett of the Cleveland
Indians, July 10, 1932 -- but that was an 18-inning game.

Some databases don't show the Orioles result from 1892 because
"modern" baseball was considered to be founded with the organization
of the National League in 1898.
