Dear Researchers,
. Iam a Mechanical Engineer with a Master?s degree. Iam seeking help
with my Engineering career. Iam a fresh graduate out of college. I
have had my Bachelor?s degree in a nation outside US and was here for
my Master?s. Did some quality research and graduated. Iam currently
working for a small manufacturing firm and iam seeking some guidance
in moving out of this Job. I have intermediate Pro/E skills and a good
engineering aptitude. Having worked for this company, I figured I
cannot be 100% hands on. I figured areas I can dwelve into Design and
R& D. Iam seeking help on a couple of things here. I am planning to
switch over to a better company with better benefits. I think I will
fit very well in an Engineer ? I position.
The question I have for people out here is,
1.	I have about 4-5 months time before I switch to another job and I
want to make use of this time to hone my skills.
2.	Having told about Pro/E and Research are areas where I can spend
hours together, iam seeking guidance on selling myself to an industry.
I would like to know of a way to increase my chances of acquiring a
good job for a Master?s Grad with the above mentioned interests.
3.	If those chances come my way through certifications, I would like
to work towards those.
4.	Though I have an intermediate knowledge in Pro/E my knowledge is
not industry oriented but textbook oriented. I would like to enhance
this knowledge too. If people know of resources for enhancing design
knowledge through Pro/E kindly let me know.
5.	Also I would like to know about industries where I have a better chance
As of now, this is all information I can think of, kindly let me know
if you need any more information. Iam seeking this help coz I want to
spend my time usefully over the next 4-5 months
Thanks
Jim
