Apparently there was once an off-color song which began with the line:
"Dancy dancy diddle de de, the mousey married the bumble bee...."

The story in my family is that it was sung by a grandfather named
Frank. No one ever learned the rest of the song because as soon as he
got that far, grandmother would yell "FRANK!!!!" and he would stop
singing....

My father has told the story many times, and I would like to locate
the rest of the lyrics for him, as he is now the grandfather. Thanks!

There seem to be sevaral variations of this as a nursery rhyme
for example
http://www.bbc.co.uk/schoolradio/earlylearning/listenandplay_summer06_programme05.shtml
see http://messybeast.com/nursery.htm for some discussion

It may have just been a rude version of this rhyme.

I have been through my library (some of which is still unpacked from a
move)and have been unable to locate the Opie's Lore and Language of
Schoolchildren which may well have something on it. If I discover
anything more I will let you know.

Hi again

this paper mentions a couple of variants and is interesting as an
overview of how this kind of rhyme or song can evolve:
