There are many different SEARS companies :
http://www.stockhouse.ca/comp_database/lookup.asp

I will assume you are talking about the retail stores in Canada and
the US (They are not the same company)

By Business Objective will Mission Statement suffice? (as Publicly
traded companies their Business Objective would be to maximize
shareholder value)
Mission Statements, on the other hand, are a bit more broad than that:

Sears Canada Mission Statement:

Sears Canada is a full-time, full-service department store and
catalogue retailer dedicated to providing its customers with quality
merchandise and exceptional service, coast to coast. Our vision is to
be Canada's most successful retailer . . . providing total
satisfaction for our customers, opportunities for our associates to
grow and contribute, and superior returns for our shareholders.

I was referring to Sears Canada Inc. And yes, I know that every
businesses' goal is to make a profit. But to achieve this goal they
must set specific business objectives, which is what I am referring
to.
